Waldart is a small workshop in Graz, Austria. We make wall pieces from real preserved Alpine moss — tufts chosen by hand, set one by one, framed in black or dark wood. Every design begins in our studio and is finished on the workbench, so no two pieces leave the workshop identical.
The rooms we spend our days in shape how we feel. A Waldart piece brings a quiet presence of the forest indoors: preserved moss keeps its colour and softness for years without water, light or care. It softens the sound of a room, rewards a closer look, and asks nothing in return.

Every Waldart design begins in our studio, where we explore hundreds of compositions within the palette of real preserved moss we keep in stock. We curate the few worth making — and then everything becomes handwork: moss chosen piece by piece, set by hand in our Graz workshop, checked, framed and packed by people.
