Shoreline follows the meeting of two territories. Small rounded forms collect along the transition, making the boundary feel inhabited rather than drawn with a ruler.

Every Waldart palette starts outdoors: which greens sit next to each other, where light catches, how much empty space a surface needs. The first two images are nature studies for this design family; the others are photographs from our walks. The panels themselves are made from preserved moss.
At a forest pond, moss and grass grow in a ragged strip exactly where water meets ground: wider here, missing there. Shoreline lives at the same boundary.
A common frog sits at the moss edge, half in the water, half on land. The boundary is where it is most at home.
Only the tips catch the light. That is why the brightest green appears sparingly, as an accent rather than a surface.
Moss never stops in a straight line. Colour fields fray into each other, and we let them.
Water makes the spaces between stones visible. Empty space is part of the composition, not what is left over.
