WALDART / Design families
Colour becomes the landscape.

Tundra lets one continuous texture carry the composition. Without a drawn motif, small surface variations and the chosen colour take the lead; each colourway offers a different atmosphere.

Every Waldart palette starts outdoors: which greens sit next to each other, where light catches, how much empty space a surface needs. The first two images are nature studies for this design family; the others are photographs from our walks. The panels themselves are made from preserved moss.
Reindeer lichen and heather at the forest edge, lightly frosted. No single shape stands out; colour and fine texture are the whole landscape. Tundra works the same way, without a drawn motif.
Close up, the lichen is grey, green and white at once, and a late bumblebee rests in the heather. Tundra keeps these small differences inside one colour.
Only the tips catch the light. That is why the brightest green appears sparingly, as an accent rather than a surface.
Moss never stops in a straight line. Colour fields fray into each other, and we let them.
Water makes the spaces between stones visible. Empty space is part of the composition, not what is left over.
