The pieces
Each design is composed once, then set by hand every time it is ordered. Same design, never the same piece.
Size
A piece sits well when it spans up to about three quarters of the furniture below it. Drawn to scale:
All five drawings share one scale; the furniture is a plain block. Round pieces follow the same rule by diameter.
What arrives
Nothing is taken from a shelf. Your piece is started when you order it and leaves the workshop finished.
The material, plainly
It is real moss, preserved so it keeps its softness and colour. It is no longer growing, which is why it needs no water and no light.
A light natural scent when you unpack it. It fades in a ventilated room.
Indoors at 40–60 % humidity, out of direct sun. Not in a bathroom. Strong sun fades any preserved moss over the years.
It is soft and it stays soft. Touching wears it, and coloured moss can leave a trace on fingers.
A soft, deep, open surface. A room with one sounds a little less hard.
